As part of the 2024 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, the Young Women in Democracy Forum (YWDF) partnered with Pure Matrimony Islamic Organization to launch the nationwide PANTS Education Campaign across all 16 districts.
Using the child-friendly PANTS acronym—Privates are private, Always remember your body belongs to you, No means no, Talk about secrets, Speak up—our members have reached over 35 schools, empowering children with tools to prevent abuse and break the silence.
This campaign reflects our commitment to building a Sierra Leone where every child, especially girls, grows up safe and respected.
